Want to know what would suck? If someone sent your ass a cobra! ...you want a cobra? I'll get you a cobra. There are ways, you don't want to know about them. I'll get you a cobra by, three o'clock this afternoon...

Look at what all these people are saying about the Pearl Jam concert I went to last week. Then watch it slowly deform into another "should we go to war?" debate. And someone talks about Cuba too.

-------------------------------

This is why Peter Arnett is a jackass. He looks like Hannibal Lecter too.

I don't want to give aid and comfort to the enemy - I just want to be able to tell the truth.

I came to Baghdad with my crew because the Iraqi side needs to be heard too.

It is clear the original timetable that America would be in Baghdad by the end of March has fallen by the wayside.

The Iraqi side, by which you mean Saddam's brutal regime's side, or the oppressed jailed children's side? I don't know whose timetable he was talking about, or how he got access to it, but I never remember Franks stating that we would be in Baghdad by the end of March. It is only fitting that the bozo is now working for the Mirror.

Arnett used to work for CNN and did a lot of reporting in Iraq. How much you want to bet he knew about those jailed children, just like Scott Ritter:

Q: You've spoke about having seen the children's prisons in Iraq. Can you describe what you saw there?

A: The prison in question is at the General Security Services headquarters, which was inspected by my team in Jan. 1998. It appeared to be a prison for children - toddlers up to pre-adolescents - whose only crime was to be the offspring of those who have spoken out politically against the regime of Saddam Hussein. It was a horrific scene. Actually I'm not going to describe what I saw there because what I saw was so horrible that it can be used by those who would want to promote war with Iraq, and right now I'm waging peace.

Waging peace to keep the children in the jails, great job Scott. Frickin toddlers in jails? What a messed up place.

Things just aren't going to be the same now that the Iraqi information minister is gone. Relive all those great moments here, here, and here.

What's even funnier is Jim Treacher's site. I laugh my ass off just about every time I go over there!

As poorly as the BBC has covered the war, this is still funny!

Earlier this week, Adam Ewing wrote an article about two female French CU students and their experiences with anti-French sentiment in and around Boulder. In the article though, one of the French girls comes off as extremely snobbish, exactly how you would picture a "more sophisticated than thou" French person. It motivated me to write a rather nasty letter to her. However, in her reply to me, she claimed that she had been brazenly misquoted. If that is true, then Ewing very irresponsibly tarnished this girl's image. I sent an email to Ewing in an effort to clarify things. No response from him yet. Interesting...
